Mui Ne

Mui Ne is a small town 4 hours from Ho Chi Minh City. It´s a beach resort town, with European, Russian and some Australian tourists. The wind also attracts kiters and windsurfers. I´ve spent 5 days there together with Trude, Stine and Saskia, kiting, sightseeing, and chilling at the beach. On our day of sightseeing we saw the sand dunes and the hectic harbour in Mui Ne. Kiting on the main beach is “so-so”, with all it´s chop. There is also a spot on the north shore of the bay which is a OK wave spot. Trude, Stine and I split up with Saskia which left for Bangkok, wile we have just arrived Hoi An.

Micro Indonesia

At Bali I passed a guy with a big camera, Chris. We started talking about photography and when we finish, he had invited me to stay at his home in Jakarta. A offer I could not refuse. I rebooked my ticked and of I went. I did not now what to expect, but it turned out to be Indonesian hospitality at it best. Chris took me around Jakarta for food, photo gear shopping (I bought Canon 5D mark II), photo hunting, spa and micro Indonesia. A superb weekend

mt_gallery:Pictures from my trip to Jakarta - Visiting Chris and he´s family

I left Jakarta for Vietnam and Mui Ne, were I have teamed up my kitefriend Trude and here friend Stine.
Trude and Stine also met a Swiss girl, Saskia. We all one happy family in Mui Ne, and last but not least we have a ISO certified toilet. For our safety.
I got 2-3 hours of kiting today, and hopefully I´ll catch some waves tomorrow.
