A friend of mine Ida, is a professional kick boxer and in 2 weeks she will be competing in SportAccord Combat Games 2010 Beijing. Ida asked me to take some lifestyle shots for her, which I off course did. The shoots are taken at Fiskars in Nydalen where Ida works with marketing.

Photo assignment
My second wedding photography assignment this year, shooting pictures for Hanne and Lars Morten. Congratulations !
Clouded, and with rain on it´s way, we just managed to shoot before it started pouring down. Using two speed lights, I had two different set ups.
- Both speed lights 45 degrees on, using reflectors.
- One on 200 degrees for back light, and one at 0 degrees shooting through a white umbrella
The picture of Hanne and Lars Morten with Lars Morten best man Espen, and Hannes maid of honor Ingunn, is two speed lights 45 degrees on. I´m starting to like flash photography, just wish I had a third speed light..

Dominican Workshop
Dominican Republic is great, and I´ve had 4 days of wind so far here in Cabarete. I´m staying with a friend from Norway, Hege. She lives here together with here boyfriend Alex. It´s been really nice seeing Hege again, and good to get to know Alex, he is a cool guy. Hege is one of the main contributors at the local kite scene here in Cabarete, and has helped a lot of the local kiters to becoming pro´s
She is also the founder of Cabarete Summer Festival, which is a big event that takes place the second week in July. Hege has hired me as a photographer and journalist, which I think is really cool! Dominican Republic is my last stop before i go back home in mid July.
There´s been no wind for the last 3 days though. So what do I do when there is no wind? One thing is making a flash reflector. On Monday I drove to the nearest big town here, which is Porto Plata and bought materials at the sewing shop, and when i got back to Cabarete I started cutting. Yesterday I had it sew together at the kite repair shop, and then I added the final piece on to it. The material is not the greatest, but it works, however the light is a bit hard. Today Alex and I got the beach volleyball net up, but playing at the beach in 30 degrees is a bit hot. We might play some more this afternoon.
