Arum Road

I´ve finally arrived in Cape Town. It´s a long trip, 2 hours from Oslo to Frankfurt, 4 hours waiting in Frankfurt, and 11 hours from Frankfurt to Cape Town. My apartment in Arum Road is great, right in the middle of Table View, 500 meters to the beach. Shops, restaurants, and surf shops near by. Shopping mall on the other side of the main road.

There is a old guy that owns this apartment which is quite noticeable. The master bedroom has a picture of a Salomon, getting caught by a fisherman, hanging over the beds. I´m picking up furnishing tricks for my future house, not. Torill and Christian, friend of mine staying with me will get the pleasure of staying in the bedroom with this “lekker” picture.

Only light wind today, It´s suppose to be like this tomorrow as well. Took picture of a local kid, probably a lunatic and excellent kite, the only one out. He probably weighed 40 kg and had a big kiter. I´t always nice to go from wither, to sunny warm weather. I chilled on the beach and watched him. I got 2 of my kites still at the airport, getting picket up on Monday. So what, I still have 178 days left of this tour;)

Final preparations

I´ve finally rented out my apartment, and most of my thing are stewed away on the attic.
Morten at surface.no ordered my kites shipped directly to Cape Town (after waited in vain for the Ozone 2009 models), hopefully they arrive before me.

Living in Cape Town

I’ve booked a studio apartment in Cape Town, 5 minutes walk from Kitebeach, Bloubergstrand.
It suppose to be an ideal location, so crossing fingers for not needing a car permanently. Security looks ok :)
